Hailey Miller I completed 4 years of my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Baker College. I then attended an 18 week police academy at the Mid-Michigan Police Academy. Mr. Duff did internships at the local police agencies. I did one at the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office. This allowed them to get to know me in high school, so they hired me as a dispatcher right after I graduated. From there, I moved to working in the jail, and they eventually sponsored me for the police academy. Without Mr. Duff’s internships, I’m not sure I would’ve had these opportunities.
